Derek Engdahl - General Director, Field Director
Derek ministered for ten years with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at the Claremont Colleges in California, where he especially enjoyed developing summer urban projects and challenging university students with God’s heart for justice. Responding to God's heart, Derek moved into a troubled community in Pomona in 1998, and soon after he and his wife Lisa put down roots in that community. Today they, with their daughter, continue to live and minister in Pomona. Derek is renowned among field staff for an uncanny ability to land in any world city and immediately locate the best local food.
